Description

The Knipex Cobra QuickSet high-tech water pump pliers 87 21 300 combines the proven, secure locking of the hinge pin with an additional sliding function that makes working in very narrow and inaccessible work areas easier. Simply open the Cobra QuickSet completely, place the upper jaw on the workpiece and push the lower leg of the pliers towards the workpiece. The spring-loaded joint pin locks securely into place and can only be moved again by pressing the QuickSet button. There is also a fine adjustment for optimal adaptation to different workpiece sizes and a hand-friendly handle position. The toothed gripping surfaces are self-clamping, hold securely and prevent slipping on the workpiece. To ensure a permanently secure bite on the workpiece, the gripping teeth have been additionally brought to a hardness of approx. 61 HRC using high-frequency current. Thanks to the 25-fold fine adjustment, the Cobra QuickSet can be optimally adjusted to different workpiece sizes. It achieves a gripping capacity for pipes up to 2.3/4" and 70mm in diameter as well as for nuts with a wrench size of up to 46mm. The Cobra QuickSet 87 21 300 has a through-joint. Unlike pliers with attached joints, there are no tilting forces when loaded, because the The pliers legs stabilize each other in the joint. An integrated clamp protection protects the user from crushing injuries. The pliers are forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and then oil-hardened several times, which gives them high strength and robustness. Item no.: 1865318
