Garden machinery

Garden Equipment – From Lawns to Tree Tops. Lawn mowers, grass trimmers, garden tractors, snow blowers, robotic mowers, power tillers and cultivators, leaf blowers and vacuums, aerators and scarifiers, wood chippers and log splitters, firewood cutters, chainsaws, pole pruners, hedge and grass shears, pressure washers, various sprayers, fertilizer spreaders, and much more – everything needed by both professional and beginner gardeners, as well as homeowners who want to keep their outdoor space neat and tidy.

Garden equipment refers to tools and machinery designed for soil care, lawn mowing, and maintaining trees and plants. Its emergence and development are closely linked to the miniaturization of agricultural machinery and the rise of home gardening. At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, during the Industrial Revolution, the first mechanical garden tools were developed. The earliest prototypes of lawn mowers (mechanical mowers) appeared in 1830 in England, invented by Edwin Budding. Later, in the early 20th century, motorized mowers were introduced, incorporating internal combustion engines.

After World War II, home gardening gained popularity rapidly in Western countries. Motorized cultivators, hedge trimmers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws began to appear. Gradually, lighter versions of garden tools were developed, tailored for private gardens and not intended for commercial or agricultural use.

At the beginning of the 21st century, battery-powered garden tools emerged, reducing noise, vibration, and environmental impact. Recently, robotic mowers and smart irrigation systems have become widespread, and technological advancements are making them increasingly efficient. Great attention is now paid to ergonomics, safety, sustainability, and eco-friendliness. Today’s garden equipment consists of modern, often smart tools that make it easier and more efficient to maintain your outdoor environment.
