M5300 AX742 Stacking Kit, expansion module
The AX742 stacking kit is a low-cost and widely used method for local Virtual Chassis stacking using both rear I/O bays. If some switches are installed remotely from each other, inexpensive SFP+ (AX743) and 10GBase-T (AX745) I/O modules can be used, with the help of which long-distance connections can be realized using fiber optics or copper. The rear I/O module bays are used for the zero-touch stacking function.
