Description

The compact X18 Universal Ax with XS blade (head length 13cm) is masterfully balanced to optimize swing speed and increase the power used. It is ideal for chopping kindling, general garden maintenance and carpentry work. The innovative, ultra-sharp forged steel blade is designed to cut wood more effectively and is double hardened to maintain the sharpness of the precision ground edge. The sophisticated blade angle ensures clean, easy cuts even through fresh, resinous wood. The low-friction coating helps the blade glide through the wood after striking and provides additional rust protection. The molded ax head ensures an inseparable connection to the handle. The virtually unbreakable design of the X-series axes includes a lightweight, remarkably strong FiberComp handle that absorbs shock and provides excellent impact protection. The ergonomically curved handle also has an oversized grip zone made of strategically structured SoftGrip and a hooked end for a secure grip before, during and after the swing.
