Description

The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 2 active cable 43348 uses integrated, active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.1 device by 3 meters while maintaining the same data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s. It enables the connection of USB-C devices such as pen drives, smartphones, tablets or devices with high bandwidth such as webcams over greater distances without reducing the data rates. It is ideal if the USB device is in a place that is difficult to access or if, for example, a multiport hub or converter is used at a greater distance. USB active cables enable larger distances to be bridged between two USB devices. These cables with integrated, active electronics amplify the signal and ensure fast data transfer. The 5 meter long active cable also supports Displayport 1.4 Alternate Mode. When transmitting DP 1.4 signals, however, only USB 2.0 with data rates of up to 480 Mbit/s is supported. USB 3.2 Gen 2 with data rates of up to 10Gbit/s are achieved when DP 1.2 signals are transmitted with resolutions of up to 4K 60Hz. The active cable also supports Power Delivery with up to 60 watts (20V / 3A). It is compatible with computers with USB 3.1 Type C and Thunderbolt 3 interfaces and is suitable for use with laptops, Macbooks and PCs with a USB-C port. Item no.: 1855910
