Description

The Bailey Planer No. 6 from Stanley is ideal for planing larger workpieces thanks to its long, smooth sole. A planer is used to smooth and join boards. It is indispensable when working on planing boards by hand, as its great length makes it ideal for planing. The Bailey Planer No. 6 with adjustable planing jaw is particularly suitable for working on fresh, resinous wood. The cutting depth can be adjusted to fractions of a millimeter using a knurled screw, and horizontal corrections can be made using the side adjustment lever. The plane body is made of black painted cast iron, the sole and the outsides are ground. The plane iron is made of chrome-plated carbon steel.Art. no.: 1732413
