Description

The non-contact Wiha Volt Detector 43797 voltage tester provides an initial indication of whether the socket is voltage-free thanks to its optical and acoustic signal. After switching on, the permanently green LED indicates that it is ready for use. During the voltage test, the LEDs light up from blue (weak) to orange to red (strong), depending on the strength of the alternating electrical field. If the device is not used for 4 minutes, it switches off automatically to save energy. An integrated LED flashlight enables the measuring point to be illuminated in dark surroundings and can also be used as a flashlight by manually switching it on and off. Thanks to its handy size, the voltage tester with clip fits comfortably in any shirt or trouser pocket. The Volt Detector voltage tester is suitable for detecting and locating live conductors, cable breaks or breaks, blown fuses, defective lamps on fairy lights and for detecting individual strands. Thanks to the internationally adapted measuring tip, the voltage tester is suitable for all socket variants worldwide. Two AAA batteries are required for operation, which are included in the delivery. The single-pole voltage tester is subject to the EN 61010-1 / IEC 61326 standard and is designed for CAT IV 1,000 VAC.Article no.: 1738235
