Description

The 70 05 125 side cutters from Knipex are high-quality tools for demanding users. From the shape of the head to the grind and hardness of the cutting edges, they are tailor-made for the diverse cutting tasks of electricians and mechatronics engineers. With their cutting performance of up to O 1.5mm for hard wire (e.g. wire rope fibers) and up to O 3.0mm for soft wire (e.g. copper wire), the side cutters offer a wide range of applications. The particularly carefully and precisely machined edges of the cutting edges make exact cuts possible even with fine stranded wires, right up to the cutting tips. The 70 05 125 side cutters are forged from vanadium electrical steel, and are then heated and quenched in oil to achieve a high level of strength. The cutting edge hardness is approx. 62 HRC for a permanently precise cut. The length and sharpness of the cutting edges are designed for high performance, even in confined spaces. The high quality and hardness of the blades ensure a long service life. The handles are particularly non-slip and comfortable thanks to multi-component covers.Art. no.: 1864405
