The legendary "Black Widow" in a brand new automobile series from COBI! As a technically sophisticated set on a large scale of 1:12 and 38 cm long, the Opel Rekord C sports car is released under the original license of the Opel brand. The set was designed with 2,078 elements and is characterized by the use of a large number of exclusively high-quality prints! We have completely dispensed with stickers. New elements have been developed specifically for the requirements of such large sets, which offer additional functionality: movable steering wheel, for rotating wheels, hinges for opening doors, body and decorative elements. There is a brick mapping motor under the tilting hood. Numerous details such as handles, lights and clocks form a harmonious whole with the perfectly reproduced characteristic shape of this vehicle. The starting number 201 is printed on the body. The model is perfect for collectors and lovers of vintage cars. Clear and intuitive instructions that guide you through the steps and building blocks packed in numbered bags ensure a smooth and easy construction process. Opel is a German manufacturer of passenger cars, sports cars and vans that have left a lasting mark on the history of the automotive industry thanks to many successful models. A groundbreaking car for Opel, which exceeded one million units produced for the first time in the mid-range segment, was the REKORD. The most famous Opel Rekord "Black Widow" was manufactured in secret! As part of the General Motors Group, Opel was excluded from racing. Nevertheless, factory workers prepared a sports version of the Rekord with a 180 hp engine. Thanks to the yellow applications on black paint, it was nicknamed "Race Taxi" and "Black Widow". The car became a sensation and took part in spectacular races. Due to bans by GM management, the car was taken to Austria, where all traces of the car were lost.
