Description

The DPS-500A Redundant Power Supply (RPS) is designed to meet the power requirements of D-Link's Ethernet and Gigabit switches. It is an external RPS unit housed in solid metal enclosures with jacks for connection to an AC power source at one end and for connection to a switch's internal power supply at the other end. It provides a cost-effective and simple solution to the problem of an accidental loss of the internal power supply of an Ethernet switch, which can cause that switch, the devices connected to its ports, or an entire network to shut down.
