Description

The window and door contact optical plus (HmIP-SWDO-PL-2) from Homematic IP impresses with an extra long battery life and detects the opening or closing of windows and doors via an integrated infrared light barrier. Window monitoring secures the home, while at the same time valuable energy is saved when ventilating by automatically lowering the room temperature. In conjunction with Homematic IP radiator thermostats, the room temperature is automatically lowered during ventilation. The lowering temperature can even be set individually. When the window is closed, the comfortable temperature is automatically restored. Opening or closing windows and doors is immediately detected and displayed in the Homematic IP app. In combination with a Homematic IP alarm siren (e.g. HmIP-ASIR-2), the home becomes even safer: when a window or door is opened, a loud alarm is automatically triggered.Article no.: 1903963
