ASUS ZenDrive V1M is a slim external DVD burner with USB Type-C support. A corner cover contains and protects the 24 cm USB-C cable. The high-quality, crystal-cut design with its smooth-cut edges shows how beautiful technology can be. ASUS ZenDrive V1M supports M-DISC, an archival-quality storage solution designed to protect particularly valuable digital memories - such as family photos and home videos. Compared to hard drives, flash memories and other writable media that have a lifespan of about 8 years, M-DISC writing technology engraves the data into a patented, stone-like layer that can withstand extreme environmental conditions and enables the storage of lifelong memories and important data for more than 1,000 years. ASUS ZenDrive V1M offers a complete, easy-to-use backup solution. The package includes two intuitive software packages, CyberLink Power2Go 8 and PowerBackup, which not only simplify the burning process and offer an optional encryption function to protect private files, but also enable automatic backup archives. In addition, data from Android devices can be backed up wirelessly to the computer using Nero BackItUp.
