Description

The GARDENA smart Irrigation Control multi-channel control is the control unit for a smart irrigation system. It ensures intelligent, plannable and efficient garden irrigation. It can irrigate several areas via the smart app, it controls six irrigation valves (24 volts per device), so up to six completely independent irrigation zones can be controlled. The watering times can be conveniently set individually for each valve from your smartphone or tablet using the GARDENA smart app, adjusted as desired and coordinated with the mowing times of a GARDENA smart SILENO as desired. You can even integrate a smart home assistant, such as Apple HomeKit or Amazon Alexa, and in the practical plant library you can find out everything you need to know about the world of plants. The Auto Schedule schedule assistant carefully plans tailored watering times depending on user requirements, the current weather forecast and the GARDENA smart sensor. If you already have an irrigation system with a classic control system from GARDENA or another brand, simply replacing the control unit allows you to switch to the completely app-controlled system. The conventional 24 V irrigation valves can be controlled with the GARDENA smart Irrigation Control, but it can also be combined with the GARDENA sprinkler system or micro-drip system. The smart gateway ensures central networking. It can be placed inconspicuously in the living area and establishes an Internet connection via an existing router. As the heart of the smart system, it takes over wireless network communication between all GARDENA smart system devices in the garden and the smart app. Two integrated high-performance antennas ensure a stable and secure connection even over long ranges. The set consists of the smart Irrigation Control, the smart Sensor and the smart Gateway; it can be expanded at any time with additional products from the smart system. The new GARDENA smart sensor in a modern, flat design measures the soil temperature and determines the soil moisture exactly where it is important, namely at the roots. Thanks to the larger measuring range, it can also be placed in deeper areas of the lawn, in flower and vegetable beds, or even less deep in flower pots. As a central element of the GARDENA smart system, the smart sensor transmits the current status data via radio directly to the GARDENA smart gateway. As soon as the sensor measurement shows that the soil is moist enough, the next scheduled watering is simply suspended. All smart products can be operated via the app at any time and anywhere with just a tap of a finger. Since the flat sensor only protrudes 20 millimeters from the ground, it can even remain in the lawn at all times when operating a GARDENA robotic lawnmower. Item no.: 1890274
