Description

With the True Spirit 140 Direct, Thermalright offers a compact HDT cooler that is based on the well-known True Spirit design. The cooler, which is optimized for quiet operation, offers optimal cooling performance and of course retains the original concept of the True Spirit: a heat sink that is as narrow as possible to avoid incompatibilities between the fan and adjacent memory banks. In addition, a cooling fin design optimized for slowly rotating fans. The aluminum cooling fins are also provided with several air holes that prevent air from accumulating between the individual cooling fins. The True Spirit 140 Direct uses the Heatpipe Direct Touch principle. Five 6 mm heat pipes ensure particularly efficient dissipation of the processor's waste heat. The heat pipes are, as is usual with Thermalright, convex in shape. This design of the heat pipes, which is patented by Thermalright and is deliberately not ground flat, gives the True Spirit 140 Direct outstanding cooling performance for an HDT cooler. The special design of the aluminum fins of the heat sink enables particularly low air resistance and is optimized for slow-rotating fans. The additional perforation of the cooling fins counteracts heat build-up between the individual fin layers and thus also supports efficient temperature reduction. The True Spirit 140 Direct is supplied as standard with the temperature-controlled Thermalright fan TY-140 Black. The proven fan with its unique design has the mounting points of a conventional 120 mm fan and has a larger inner diameter than common 140 mm fans. Item no.: 100034527
