Note Samsung Magician is a free tool for managing the Samsung SSD. The management software reads the data from the solid state drive, provides information about the drive and offers options for optimization with diagnostic functions such as a benchmark test. For example, the interaction between the drive and operating system services can be improved and in this way a constant performance of the SSD can be guaranteed. Samsung Magician also informs about new program versions and firmware updates. Samsung recommends always updating the firmware of the Samsung SSDs to the latest version. The current version of Samsung Magician can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website in order to keep the Samsung SSD up to date and ensure optimal performance.
