Description

The almost 8cm long KNIPEX TubiX pipe cutter is suitable for all installation work in the tightest of spaces. It cuts pipes made of copper, brass and stainless steel. With just one hand, it can be positioned precisely on pipes with a diameter of 3 to 30mm (1/8" - 1.1/8") and cuts wall thicknesses of up to 2mm without much effort. The QuickLock one-hand quick fixation guides the tool firmly to the pipe, fixes it and positions the cutting wheel precisely on the different pipe diameters. The pipe is then cut by turning the tool, whereby the distance to the cutting edge can be continuously adjusted using the ergonomic rotary knob. The TubiX S enables a minimized cutting circle and only 39.5mm of space around the pipe. The TubiX cutting wheel is made of high-quality ball bearing steel, the metal housing is made of light and durable magnesium. The needle bearing and spring-loaded cutting wheel can be easily replaced; a spare wheel is already in the blue handle knob. The optimized rotary knob with structured thumb recess offers approx. 20% better power transmission and prevents slipping, even in wet conditions.Art. no.: 100050593
